Spotlight

Joshua David Millis, one of Berlin’s finest unsung high school heroes, will be graduating from Berlin High School and going on to college at BYU Idaho. In his own quiet way he has worked tirelessly to make Berlin High School and the Berlin community a better place.

I have had the opportunity to work with Josh on many occasions. He has been involved in assisting Baby Threads for 8 years. Through all those years, he has volunteered more than 500 hours of community service. He is willing to do whatever he is asked to do. He serves with a good attitude and with a sense of humor.

Josh has helped to load and unload vehicles for donation pick up and distribution. He has helped with setting up and cleaning up after free clothing give away events. He helped to organize and set up a storage area for Baby Threads in Chichester N.H. Josh has helped with filling backpacks for needy children and has helped with Christmas stocking and gift distribution.

Josh has volunteered his service at many catered fund raising events for Baby Threads. He has helped set up halls, prepare food, tend buffet tables, and clean up after. The Baby Threads family will sorely miss his help.

Thank you Josh. Best wishes for a wonderful college experience!
