Dorothy’s Sewing Room is the workshop for Baby Threads. It is located at 668 Main St. in Laconia, NH. Why the name Dorothy’s sewing room? Dorothy was one of the founders of Baby Thread. Baby Threads began in the basement of Dorothy’s home. When Dorothy passed away, Baby Threads needed a new place to work. We decided to call it Dorothy’s sewing room in her honor. The sewing room is open on Tuesdays from 10-3:00 and on Wednesday from 10-3:00. Tuesdays is sit and sews for folks who would like to help make things for Baby Threads. On Wednesday free knitting and crochet classes are offered. During these hours folks are also invited to drop off donations.
